Are you an experienced farming or agricultural professional looking to carry out Red Tractor Dairy, Beef & Lamb, and Crops assessments on behalf of NSF as a self‑employed independent contractor? Our assessors play a key role in auditing farms and verifying compliance with scheme owner standards.

Independent Contracting – How it works:- You operate on a self‑employed basis, completing Red Tractor assessments on behalf of NSF.
- You are paid per audit, with travel expenses covered, where applicable.
- You share your availability, and visits are scheduled based on your location, experience, and scheme coverage.
- Work is offered on an ad hoc basis and can vary throughout the year depending on programme needs.

- Maintaining effective communication with audit delivery and client teams.
- Practical on‑farm experience, including stockperson or management responsibility for livestock health and welfare.
- The ability to engage confidently, respectfully and patiently with the farming community.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
