NSF is looking for an Audit Manager – Restaurant/Hospitality/Food Service to lead and support our dynamic team of auditors across the region. This is a key operational role focused on delivering high-quality audits, developing talent, and ensuring we meet our clients’ expectations - on time, every time.
You’ll be joining a purpose-led organisation with a strong reputation in public health and safety. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Audit EMEA, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing audit delivery, supporting strategic growth, and developing a high-performing team. This is a busy, high-responsibility role with lots of moving parts—from people management and client engagement to operational delivery and quality oversight. It’s ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and is motivated by making a real impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Restaurant, Hospitality, & Food Service auditors across the UK, ensuring timely, high-quality audit delivery.
- Drive performance against KPIs including audit cadence, report timeliness, and auditor utilisation.
- Conduct integrity and quality checks, providing feedback and training to improve consistency and performance.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of auditors.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Senior Audit Manager to meet client expectations and support new business opportunities.
- Manage costs and support financial targets through effective travel planning and resource allocation.
- Deliver audits and field training as needed.
- Act as a key client-facing leader—supporting RFPs, tenders, and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Experience in food safety or health & safety auditing, ideally in restaurant, hospitality, or food service environments.
- People management experience is highly beneficial - but we’re also open to senior auditors with strong industry knowledge, leadership potential, and a desire to grow.
- Level 4 qualifications in Food Safety and Health & Safety (minimum requirement).
- Comfortable working with data and systems—Excel proficiency and ability to learn internal tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
