We’re looking for an experienced Seafood Auditor to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be out working with processors, suppliers, and facilities - making sure products are responsibly sourced, traceable, and meet recognised certification standards. You’ll play a key role in protecting product integrity and helping clients improve how they operate.

If you enjoy working independently, travelling, and applying technical expertise in real-world environments - this could be a great fit.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in Food Science, Biology, Aquaculture, or similar
  • 3+ years auditing experience, ideally within food supply chains or Chain of Custody schemes
  • Lead Auditor qualification (or working towards it)
  • Strong understanding of seafood processing, trading, or logistics
  • Solid report writing and analytical skills
  • Confidence working independently and managing your own schedule
  • Excellent communication skills when working with clients and stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel (both regionally and internationally)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with certification bodies or specific schemes (MSC, MarinTrust, CSI, etc.)
  • Additional languages

Plan and deliver Chain of Custody audits across schemes such as MSC, ASC, MarinTrust, GLOBALG.A.P. and CSIAssess client operations for compliance, identifying risks and areas for improvement. Produce clear audit reports, including non-conformities and follow-up actions. Communicate findings professionally with clients and internal teams. Manage audit schedules efficiently and meet reporting timelines. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of certification schemes and requirements. Participate in witness audits, peer reviews, and internal calibration activities. Support a strong safety and compliance culture in all activities.
