Working on Linux-based systems, you'll play a key role in developing high-performance C++ applications that support mission-critical programmes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a developer with commercial C++ experience who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working with modern development practices, and contributing to secure, high-quality software.
What You'll be Doing Designing, developing and maintaining high-performance C++ applications for Linux environments.
Producing clean, maintainable and well-tested code with a focus on performance and reliability.
Using static analysis, profiling and debugging tools to improve software quality.
Investigating and resolving software defects, including third-party library and dependency issues.
Supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery.
Essential Skills & Experience Commercial experience developing software in C++ (approximately 18 months or more).
Strong Linux development experience.
Experience debugging software and working with tools such as Valgrind.
Good understanding of networking concepts and analysing network traffic and protocols.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and Java Script.
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent commercial experience What We're Looking For Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel when required.
