About the Role

This role will report directly to the VP of Strategy & Corporate Development and work closely with Nscale’s CEO, CFO, and Commercial teams. As a key member of the Strategy & Corporate Development team at Nscale, you’ll play a key role in executing on our mission to build Europe’s hyperscaler, purpose-built for AI.

You’ll help drive high-impact initiatives — from supporting capital raising processes and executing M&A, to driving strategic partnerships and unlocking commercial growth opportunities — with direct exposure to executive-level decisions. This is a rare opportunity to help define how sovereign AI infrastructure is developed across Europe.

The ideal candidate has a background in strategy, M&A, or investment banking with strong experience in cloud and digital infrastructure. You are an ambitious self starter that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment and are comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop financial models, pitch decks, and other investor materials to support Nscale’s capital raising activities
  • Support investor due-diligence processes, investor relations, and ongoing shareholder engagement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Ops, Sales, Product, and Technology to support strategic initiatives (M&A, partnerships, business development) and drive operational alignment
  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and the evolving competitive landscape, to enhance and refine Nscale’s value proposition and GTM strategy
  • Take ownership of key workstreams and manage junior team members to deliver high-quality, structured outputs across strategic projects

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Strategy, M&A, Corporate Development, Management Consulting, or Investment Banking
  • Extensive experience leading end-to-end workstreams with a high degree of ownership, including managing junior team members to deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines
  • Strong understanding of the data centre and digital infrastructure markets; knowledge of GPUaaS (as-a-Service) or AI infrastructure is a bonus
  • Track record of working on M&A transactions, strategic investments, and/or strategic partnerships
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills; able to independently build clear, executive-ready outputs
  • A structured thinker and strong communicator who excels at simplifying complex issues
  • Detail-oriented and rigorous; holds themselves to high standards in both thinking and execution
  • Proactive and self-directed; comfortable operating with autonomy and ambiguity
  • Collaborative and resourceful; works well across functions and adapts quickly in a fast-moving environment

Ways to Stand Out

  • Prior experience in the data centre or AI infrastructure sectors
  • A strong point of view on how the European data centre market will evolve in a GPU-driven future
  • Experience working with or advising hyperscalers, cloud providers, or AI startups
  • Experience supporting or leading investor / fundraising processes in a fast-scaling business
  • Clear evidence of developing talent and driving high-quality outcomes

We're currently working remotely, but plan to transition to a hybrid working model in 2025 as we look to secure a modern office space in London.
