We're seeking a Head of Brand Design to lead the design function and own the visual identity of Nscale across every channel and touchpoint. As we scale globally and define a new category, you'll set the standard for visual craft, lead and develop the brand design team, and ensure Nscale's design language is consistent, compelling, and built to scale. This is the design authority within Nscale's creative team. You'll work closely with the Creative Director to evolve the brand and bring it to life across campaigns, product marketing, digital, events, and more, a rare opportunity to shape the visual identity of one of the most ambitious infrastructure companies in the world at a pivotal moment in its growth.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and evolve Nscale's visual identity, design system, and brand guidelines, setting the standard for design quality across all brand output including digital, print, social, and environmental.
- Act as the internal design authority, ensuring consistency and excellence across every touchpoint.
- Directly manage the Brand Designer, providing mentorship, creative direction, and performance development, and partner with the Creative Director to plan team growth as Nscale's design needs scale.
- Build a strong design culture within the team that is collaborative, ambitious, and craft-led.
- Lead design execution across brand campaigns, product launches, event materials, sales collateral, and digital content, collaborating with Content & Brand, Product Marketing, and GTM teams to drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline.
- Oversee the design of flagship brand assets, including keynote presentations, case studies, solution pages, and executive materials.
- Maintain and develop Nscale's design system, component library, and asset library, ensuring they are scalable and accessible across the organisation.
- Establish and enforce design standards, templates, and governance across the marketing function.
- Partner closely with the Creative Director, Video Producer, Motion Designer, and Experiential Designer to ensure design is integrated across all creative disciplines, contributing to campaign concepting and creative strategy.
- Manage design workflows, project prioritisation, and creative briefs across the team, partnering with Marketing Operations to ensure tooling, asset management, and production processes are efficient and scalable.
- Manage relationships with external design agencies and freelancers where needed.
What You Need
- 6+ years of experience in brand or graphic design, with at least 2 years in a lead or management role.
- An exceptional portfolio demonstrating mastery of brand identity, typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
- Proven experience owning and evolving a brand design system at scale.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage creative talent.
- Ability to work across a wide range of formats and channels, from digital campaigns to event materials.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present and defend creative decisions with confidence.
- Highly proficient in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments where brand is being built, not just maintained.
- A passion for AI and technology is always a plus.
