About the Role
We’re hiring a Director, FP&A – Management Reporting to serve as the architect of the company’s financial narrative and the owner of the "Source of Truth" for leadership reporting. In this role, you will sit within the FP&A function and report to the VP, FP&A, partnering closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Board stakeholders, and cross-functional teams across sales, operations, and finance. You will build and run the reporting frameworks that shape the agenda for the company’s most critical leadership forums, from the weekly SitRep to the quarterly Board meeting. This is a high-impact role for a finance leader who can turn complex data into a clear board-level story while maintaining rigorous command of the underlying detail. Your work will give leadership objective, actionable insight into performance against strategic priorities and help modernize reporting through advanced EPM tools and automation.
What you'll be doing
- Lead the end-to-end production of the Board of Directors reporting package.
- Synthesize complex financial results into a concise, high-impact narrative that can stand up to intense scrutiny.
- Own the Monthly Management Reporting cycle for the Senior Leadership Team.
- Provide the data-driven spine for leadership meetings so performance is measured accurately and functional leads stay aligned.
- Own the monthly Actuals vs. Budget/Forecast process across the business.
- Deliver deep-dive variance analysis to identify root causes and translate findings into executive-level insights.
- Lead the rolling forecast process to keep the business agile as performance shifts.
- Use system-driven insight to update outlooks and give the SLT early visibility into year-end landing spots.
- Produce the weekly Situation Report as a high-velocity, high-visibility view of performance trends, KPIs, and immediate operational risks.
- Keep the SLT aligned through timely, objective weekly reporting.
- Act as the final authority on revenue truth across reporting outputs.
- Drive synchronization between sales bookings, operational delivery, and P&L recognition.
- Ensure the bridge between front-end commercial activity and financial reality is accurate and defensible.
- Serve as the functional lead for the EPM tech stack, including tools such as OneStream, Palantir Foundry, and Pigment.
- Manage cubes, dimensions, and workflows so reporting systems scale with the business.
- Shift the team from manual data aggregation to more automated, granular reporting.
- Understand how source data is structured to ensure it flows cleanly into executive dashboards and management reporting.
About You
- Extensive post-qualification experience with an ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or MBA credential.
- Proven experience in a Director-level or equivalent finance role within a complex multinational organization or high-growth scale-up.
- Strong background in management reporting, executive storytelling, and Board-level financial communication.
- Exceptional financial modelling skills with the ability to work through complex financial detail.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize large data sets into clear executive summaries and decision-ready insight.
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and modern BI/CPM/EPM tools.
- Hands-on experience working with EPM platforms such as OneStream, Palantir Foundry, or Pigment.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity while managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
- High precision and analytical depth with a rigorous approach to accuracy and consistency.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across finance, sales, operations, and senior leadership stakeholders.
