The Role

Nscale is looking for an experienced communications leader who will work alongside our VP of Internal Communications to build and deliver our executive and internal communications. This is a high-impact, highly visible role working directly with our CEO and senior leadership team. You will own how Nscale’s executives show up externally, across media, global events, and key industry moments, as well as internally. You’ll act as both a strategic advisor and a gatekeeper, ensuring we focus on the opportunities that matter most, while confidently pushing back on those that don’t.

From global forums like Davos to daily inbound requests, you’ll bring structure, judgment, and clarity, making sure every external engagement is intentional, high-impact, and aligned to our broader narrative.

What You’ll Do

  • Executive Communications & Advisory
    • Partner closely with the VP of Internal Communications to shape senior leadership’s external presence and positioning
    • Prepare executives for high-stakes engagements, including media interviews, keynotes, and major global forums
    • Deliver briefings, messaging, and media training to ensure clarity, confidence, and consistency
  • Internal Communications
    • Collaborate with VP, Internal Communications to develop and implement company-wide communication strategies
    • Serve as trusted advisor on internal comms to our C-suite executives, guiding the strategy and execution of their internal communications engagements
    • Assist with planning and execution of major internal communication moments, from crisis management to internal campaigns and strategic announcements to events
    • Track and analyze internal communication metrics to measure campaign effectiveness
  • Media Relations
    • Develop and execute a proactive media strategy across top-tier tech, business, and international outlets
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists and media platforms
    • Manage inbound media opportunities and ensure alignment with company priorities
    • Partner with internal teams and agencies to land impactful coverage
  • Event Strategy & Opportunity Vetting
    • Own the evaluation and prioritisation of events, speaking opportunities, and invitations
    • Create clear frameworks for decision-making (e.g. keynote vs. panel, strategic value, audience relevance)
    • Ensure executive time is spent on high-impact, brand-building opportunities
    • Manage presence at high-profile global events (e.g. Davos, major tech conferences)
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Confidently manage and influence senior stakeholders, including the ability to push back where needed
    • Navigate competing priorities and high volumes of inbound requests with clarity and authority
    • Act as a central point of coordination across communications, marketing, and leadership

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant experience in executive communications, internal communications, media relations, or strategic communications within a tech or high-growth environment
  • Proven experience working directly with C-suite leaders, ideally a CEO or founder
  • Strong judgment and the ability to prioritise high-impact opportunities
  • Confidence and credibility to push back and influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience managing high-profile events and global forums (e.g. Davos or equivalent)
  • Deep understanding of media landscapes and executive positioning
  • Exceptional communication, discretion, and stakeholder management skills
