We’re looking for a visionary VP of Communications to lead Nscale’s global communications strategy across corporate, product, executive, and internal communications. You will define and protect Nscale’s reputation, amplify our story in the market, and lead high-impact communications that build trust with governments, industry leaders, investors, and the public. Reporting to the CEO, you will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and Executive team, shaping how we present ourselves in the world, from major product announcements and geopolitical narratives to crisis response and cultural moments. You’ll lead a small but mighty team and scale our communications capabilities with world-class rigour, creativity, and clarity.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision and lead the execution of a global communications strategy that supports business objectives, brand awareness, and trust.
  • Own corporate positioning, press releases, executive visibility, crisis communications, speaking opportunities, awards, and public statements.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with top-tier journalists across technology, business, government, and global affairs.
  • Proactively shape narratives that drive meaningful coverage.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on messaging, speeches, media interviews, LinkedIn strategy, and investor storytelling.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate complex technologies into clear, impactful announcements that resonate with commercial, technical, and government stakeholders.
  • Craft narratives that support Nscale’s long-term business trajectory, including communications aligned with capital raises, strategic partnerships, and increased visibility in the investor community.
  • Support engagement with regulators, policymakers, and multi-stakeholder coalitions to position Nscale as a credible, values-driven leader in sovereign AI.
  • Partner with People and Operations to ensure employees are engaged, informed, and inspired through consistent and transparent internal comms.
  • Lead a network of PR and communications partners across key markets to extend Nscale’s reach and ensure message discipline.
  • Anticipate and manage reputational risks with integrity, speed, and accuracy.
  • Use data and qualitative insights to assess the impact of communication and continuously optimise the strategy.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or public affairs, with a strong track record in high-growth technology environments.
  • Proven success shaping external narratives and positioning companies for high-stakes visibility, industry leadership, and long-term market confidence.
  • Experience developing communication strategies that engage investor audiences, analysts, and financial media with clarity and credibility.
  • Strong executive presence and experience working closely with C-level leaders on public and investor communications.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills with the ability to synthesise complexity into compelling, strategic narratives.
  • A track record of operating effectively in fast-paced, highly regulated, or geopolitically sensitive environments.
  • Deep understanding of media relations, reputation management, and strategic messaging across a global landscape.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders with a high degree of precision and discretion.
  • Experience scaling communications functions and leading through periods of transformation, external scrutiny, or market entry.
  • Background in AI, infrastructure, cloud, technology, or policy is a plus.

Ways to Stand Out

  • Experience leading communications through high-visibility capital events, international expansion, or strategic partnerships.
  • Background in public sector or enterprise-focused tech communications.
