About the Role

This is a high-impact role at the heart of a forward-thinking, global People Team driving transformational initiatives from technology innovation, policy evolution, and process modernisation. Reporting to the VP, People Experience and Infrastructure, the role blends strategic project delivery with a sharp focus on process excellence, leveraging AI-powered tools and automation to capture, map, and optimise workflows. The Project Manager takes end-to-end ownership of people initiatives—ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and on budget while remaining a hands‑on contributor alongside project teams. Success in this role depends on building strong, trusted partnerships across People Operations, People Technology, Regional People Leads, external vendors, and cross‑functional business teams acting as a connective thread that keeps diverse stakeholders aligned and moving in the same direction. This is an opportunity for a project leader who is equally comfortable managing complexity and driving continuous improvement and who is excited about shaping how AI and smart process design can elevate people function for years to come.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Project Ownership and Delivery: Lead projects from initiation to closure, ensuring clear scope, milestones, and ownership are defined and agreed by all relevant stakeholders from day one. Use project tracking tools to monitor progress, flag risks, and surface interdependencies before they become blockers. Act as the driving force that keeps complex, multi-workstream projects moving forward with pace and purpose. Proactively resolve issues and maintain momentum across all phases of delivery.
  • Process Mapping and Optimisation: Capture and document existing People Team processes with precision to accelerate documentation and surface inefficiencies. Translate complex workflows into clear, accessible process maps that form the foundation of a scalable shared service model. Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and user experience. Refine and implement changes that deliver measurable improvements for both the People Team and the wider business.
  • Change Planning and Implementation: Apply structured change management principles to ensure new ways of working are effectively adopted and embedded. Design and deliver communication plans, training programmes, and feedback mechanisms that bring stakeholders on the journey. Use data and sentiment insights to gauge adoption levels and adjust the change approach where needed. Ensure changes are fully integrated into business-as-usual practices, not just launched, but truly landed.
  • Hands‑On Project Execution: Take an active, hands‑on role during critical delivery phases such as system go‑lives, policy rollouts, and training programmes. Produce high-quality project materials including guides, briefings, and timelines to increase speed without compromising quality. Partner closely with functional experts to ensure every deliverable is grounded in operational reality and meets the bar for excellence. Support internal adoption by creating clear, practical materials that help people understand and navigate change.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Build trusted relationships across People Operations, People Technology, Regional People Leads, and cross‑functional business teams. Translate project complexity into clear, compelling updates that enable informed decision‑making and drive action. Use reporting and visualisation tools to bring data to life and make stakeholder communications more impactful. Engage and support stakeholders through periods of change, maintaining open communication and feedback loops throughout.
  • Continuous Improvement and Ways of Working: Establish simple, scalable project frameworks that make future People Team delivery faster and more consistent. Capture lessons learned in a structured way and apply them to continuously refine project planning and execution. Champion the use of AI tools and automation to drive smarter, more agile ways of working across the People Team. Play an active role in building a delivery‑focused culture where continuous improvement is embedded in everyday practice.
