Principal EIA Consultant London in Bristol

As Principal EIA Consultant you will take a leading role in the delivery of high-profile EIA projects for major development and infrastructure clients. Working alongside a well-established team of specialists you’ll shape project strategies guide junior colleagues and help maintain the consultancy’s outstanding record of successful outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on team-focused environment. You will have genuine influence from early feasibility through to consent supported by a modern flexible culture where your voice is heard and your ideas are encouraged.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support EIA projects from initial concept through to submission
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary technical inputs and ensure high-quality deliverables
• Build and maintain strong client relationships attending meetings and providing confident guidance
• Offer clear pragmatic advice on environmental planning and consenting issues
• Support day-to-day project management to ensure delivery on time and within budget
• Mentor and develop junior team members within a collaborative and supportive setting

About You

• Strong track record in EIA delivery with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent working knowledge of UK planning and consenting processes
• Confident communicator client-facing and commercially aware
• Team-orientated supportive and keen to share knowledge
• Ideally chartered or working towards chartership
