As Principal EIA Consultant you will take a leading role in the delivery of high-profile EIA projects for major development and infrastructure clients. Working alongside a well-established team of specialists you’ll shape project strategies guide junior colleagues and help maintain the consultancy’s outstanding record of successful outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on team-focused environment. You will have genuine influence from early feasibility through to consent supported by a modern flexible culture where your voice is heard and your ideas are encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support EIA projects from initial concept through to submission
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary technical inputs and ensure high-quality deliverables
- Build and maintain strong client relationships attending meetings and providing confident guidance
- Offer clear pragmatic advice on environmental planning and consenting issues
- Support day-to-day project management to ensure delivery on time and within budget
- Mentor and develop junior team members within a collaborative and supportive setting
About You
- Strong track record in EIA delivery with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent working knowledge of UK planning and consenting processes
- Confident communicator client-facing and commercially aware
- Team-orientated supportive and keen to share knowledge
- Ideally chartered or working towards chartership
