Are you ready to step into a genuine leadership role within a high-growth ESG advisory? We’re partnering with an ambitious, fast-scaling consultancy operating at the intersection of finance, infrastructure and sustainability. With a strong pipeline of global mandates, they are now looking to appoint a Director to lead and expand their ESDD / ESIA offering. This is a pivotal hire, combining technical leadership, commercial ownership and team growth.
The Role
- You will take ownership of a critical service line, leading the delivery of complex environmental and social due diligence and impact assessment mandates across international markets.
- Working closely with investors, lenders and developers, you will act as a trusted advisor on environmental and social risk supporting major infrastructure and development transactions.
Key focus areas include:
- Leading ESDD and ESIA delivery from early-stage strategy through to execution
- Acting as a senior advisor to financial institutions and project sponsors
- Driving the growth and positioning of the ESDD / ESIA service line
- Managing project performance, quality and commercial outcomes
- Building, mentoring and leading a multidisciplinary team
- Supporting business development, bids and strategic client engagement
About You
You will bring a strong blend of technical credibility and commercial awareness, with experience operating in consultancy or within a finance/investment environment. Your background is likely to include:
- Significant experience delivering ESDD, ESIA or broader ESG advisory work
- Strong exposure to lenders, infrastructure investors or developers
- Deep understanding of IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles and international ESG frameworks
- A proven track record leading complex projects and managing senior stakeholders
- Experience winning work and contributing to business growth
- Demonstrated leadership capability
