Location: Full-time, on-site role based in London (Spitalfields)
As a Backend Engineer at nsave, you’ll help design, build, and operate the core systems that power our financial products. You’ll work closely with our CTO, CEO, and engineering team to architect secure, scalable, and highly reliable backend services that support users across multiple regions and regulatory environments. This is a high-impact role where you’ll own critical infrastructure and backend services end-to-end, balancing rapid iteration with the rigor required in a regulated fintech environment.
Who You Are
- A strong backend engineer: Comfortable designing and building scalable, reliable backend services and APIs.
- Tech-savvy: Proficient in TypeScript and NestJS.
- Database and systems fluent: Experienced with relational databases (Postgres) and performance-sensitive systems.
- Cloud and infrastructure aware: Knowledgeable about AWS (ECS, RDS/Postgres), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Messaging and integrations focused: Familiar with event-driven architectures and messaging systems like Kafka.
- Security-conscious: Brings a security-first mindset and understands the demands of financial-grade systems.
