The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, repair, and installation of car wash equipment across designated locations. This role requires a high level of technical competence, professionalism, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out breakdown repairs, routine servicing, and equipment installations
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures, risk assessments, and method statements
- Diagnose faults efficiently and implement effective solutions
- Interpret and work from schematic drawings
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and professionalism at all times
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week (with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break)
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (local working)
- Participation in a weekend rota (1 in 4)
- Flexibility is required, including occasional working away from home
Candidate Requirements
- Sound knowledge of electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Full, clean UK driving licence (towing experience is advantageous)
- Physically capable of undertaking field-based duties
