A Managing Agent in the Lloyd's of London Insurance market is looking to hire a Lawyer to join their growing Legal team. Pitching at around the 3-4 PQE range, this would be part of a team of 4.

It's a broad, generalist role covering all areas of in-house legal work as expected in an Insurance company like this, including:

  • Drafting and negotiating a full range of commercial contracts and insurance distribution agreements
  • Advising on coverage matters, claims and policy wordings
  • Supporting the compliance function with advising business functions on regulatory considerations
  • Supporting with corporate transactions and corporate governance
  • A wide variety of ad-hoc legal support to all business areas

This role would suit someone already in-house, or looking to make their first move from a Law Firm into the in-house market. Prior Insurance experience is particularly desirable.
