A Lloyd's managing agent are searching for a senior Lawyer, with prior experience of leadership roles in-house in the Lloyd's of London Insurance market.
Managing a small team, you will lead the Legal function, responsible for providing counsel to all levels of the business on a range of commercial, corporate and regulatory legal matters. You will be responsible for:
- Commercial and Insurance distribution agreements
- Supporting underwriters with policy wordings and product development
- Corporate Transactions
- Supporting the claims function with claims litigation and coverage
- Supporting with corporate governance, company secretariat and compliance
This role will suit a Lawyer who is currently in-house, or has substantial prior in-house experience, with a strong preference for that experience to come from the Lloyd's Insurance market. There is no definitive PQE guide, but prior experience of management/leadership responsibilities is also preferable.
