We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our direct sales and marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong client relationships, driving sales growth, and delivering tailored marketing solutions that meet client objectives. You will act as a key contributor to our business performance through effective sales execution and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through direct sales outreach, networking, and lead follow-up.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their goals, needs, and challenges.
- Present and demonstrate our products/services clearly and persuasively to prospective customers.
- Develop customised sales proposals and marketing solutions suited to client requirements.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring terms are compliant and beneficial for both client and company.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline updates in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Work closely with internal teams (marketing, creative, delivery) to ensure seamless campaign execution and client satisfaction.
- Support account growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and sector best practice.
- Proven experience in direct sales, field sales or marketing roles (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Comfortable with target-driven performance metrics.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using a CRM system to manage sales pipeline and forecast outcomes.
- Valid right to work in the UK.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally (if required).
