Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Door Entry Engineer to install, service, maintain, and fault-find door entry and access control systems across residential and commercial properties in Hounslow and the surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be reliable, technically competent, and customer-focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain door entry and access control systems
- Fault diagnosis and repairs on audio and video door entry systems
- Work on communal residential blocks and commercial premises
- Carry out system upgrades and replacements
- Ensure all works comply with relevant regulations and company standards
- Complete job reports and documentation accurately
- Liaise professionally with clients, residents, housing associations, and management companies
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle
- Adhere to health & safety procedures at all times
Systems Experience (Desirable)
- Paxton, Comelit, Videx, Fermax, Aiphone, BPT, Intratone
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Door Entry / Access Control Engineer
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working in residential blocks and communal systems
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
Qualifications (Essential)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Full UK Driving Licence
Qualifications (Desirable)
- ECS or CSCS Card
- IPAF
- Manufacturer‑specific training/certifications
