Senior Contracts Administrator (Electrical)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator (Electrical) to support the successful commercial and operational delivery of electrical contracts from award through to completion.
The role will take ownership of contract administration, including contract documentation, variations, valuations, applications for payment, subcontractor management, cost control, compliance, and final accounts.
You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, Project Managers, and senior management to ensure contracts are delivered efficiently and commercially.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the administration of electrical contracts from start to finish.
- Oversee variations, valuations, applications, orders, invoices, and contract correspondence.
- Monitor contractual obligations, costs, performance, and commercial risks.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Support Project Managers and senior management with commercial and contractual matters.
- Assist with forecasting, cost control, final accounts, and project close-out.
- Ensure contractual, regulatory, and company requirements are met.
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members where required.
About You
- Proven experience in a Senior Contracts Administrator, Contracts Administrator, or similar role.
- Experience within electrical contracting, construction, M&E, or building services.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration and commercial processes.
- Experience with variations, valuations, subcontract management, and final accounts.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and take ownership of responsibilities.
