Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the business and our MSP, ensuring high-quality support and service delivery.
  • Oversee the performance and maintenance of core systems including Deltek Vantagepoint, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and other business applications.
  • Manage IT support escalations to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Maintain up-to-date IT documentation, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
  • Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support procurement and selection processes for new systems and services.
  • Oversee the configuration and management of SaaS and line-of-business systems.
  • Ensure systems are secure, compliant, and aligned with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with the MSP to monitor and respond to cybersecurity risks.
  • Provide oversight and administration of ERP, CRM, and other critical systems.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure systems meet operational needs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage integrations and support process automation across platforms.
  • Support the Head of Innovation and Digital Transformation in delivering the digital strategy.
  • Contribute to IT roadmap planning and ensure alignment with long-term business goals.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise technology use and drive innovation across the organisation.

Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based environments, particularly Microsoft 365 and Azure.
  • Understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity best practices, and data protection (including GDPR).
  • Familiarity with network fundamentals, identity management, and SaaS systems.
  • Knowledge of IT service management principles and vendor performance monitoring.

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, able to engage effectively with non-technical audiences.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and process improvement skills.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate third-party vendors and MSPs to deliver business value.
