Our Traffic and Transportation team are based in our London and Bristol offices, specialising in undertaking transport planning studies, and developing traffic and transportation schemes for both public and private sector clients through services including design, transport planning and traffic modelling. In this role you will be providing valuable support to the team by undertaking Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, design work, data analysis, model construction calibration and validation, report writing and scheme assessments. This is a permanent role to be based in our London or Bristol office. We have hybrid working where we aim for around two days per week in the office or on-site as required, and the remainder time working from home. Our full-time hours are 40 hours per week, but we embrace flexibility and welcome applications from those seeking part time work.

About You

Being in the earlier stages of your career, you are looking to enter the professional workforce, or you may be a recent post-graduate looking to take your first step into the working environment to put your learning and knowledge into practice. You will enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, and be confident with your communication through strong written, spoken and presentational skills. You will have good numerical and analytical skills, with high attention to detail, and be capable of effectively prioritising your workload to meet agreed deadlines.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must:

  • Have the right to live and work in the UK
  • Hold a degree in a relevant subject or have previous transport engineering or planning experience
  • Be highly capable in using MS Office, especially Excel

Additionally, the following are not essential but are highly beneficial to your application:

  • Post graduate qualification in transport planning
