This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of temporary works and civil engineering who can provide technical leadership and innovative solutions. ResponsibilitiesLead the design and engineering phases of temporary and permanent works within major civil engineering projects.
Develop, review, and approve design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
Collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with programme and safety requirements.
Conduct site visits and assessments to verify design assumptions and resolve technical issues.
Take part in coordination meetings, risk assessments, and constructability reviews.
Ensure adherence to CDM regulations, industry standards, and company design procedures.
Contribute to innovation and cost-effective design solutions that enhance safety and buildability.
Must-have RequirementsDegree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's desirable).Proven experience in temporary works design within civil engineering or construction.
Competence in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Tedds, STAAD Pro or similar.
SkillsExperience with major infrastructure projects.
Continuous improvement mindset with exposure to innovative design techniques.
