We’re looking for experienced Industrial Electricians to join a factory upgrade project in Smethwick. This role is ideal for contractors with proven experience in industrial electrical installations who are ready for an immediate start. This is a great opportunity to work on a key project with the potential for further work after successful completion.

Rates of Pay:

  • CIS rates:
    • £23.68 per hour for the first 40 hours
    • £31.50 per hour for hours 41+
    • £35.52 per hour for hours 52+

Location and Working Pattern

  • Smethwick
  • Full-time, on-site
  • 7.30am-4pm Mon-Thur
  • 7.30am-1pm Fri

Client Overview

Our client is undertaking a major factory upgrade project requiring skilled industrial electricians to deliver installation and refurbishment works to high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Install, terminate and gland SWA cables up to 95mm²
  • Fit high-bay lighting from high-level busbar trunking systems
  • Install small power containment, including ladder rack and cable trays
  • Complete busbar installations up to 250A
  • Carry out office refurbishment works, including power and lighting installations

Must-have Requirements

  • Previous industrial electrical installation experience
  • Valid IPAF licence
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Gold JIB card

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Strong understanding of industrial power distribution systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
