Job Title: Senior Electrical Commissioning Manager β Data Centre
Weβre looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Commissioning Manager to join a leading engineering project in Dagenham, Essex. This is an 8-week contract providing an excellent opportunity for someone with proven commissioning management experience to deliver on a significant data centre development. If you have a strong track record in overseeing electrical commissioning processes and working to high standards of compliance, this role is for you.

Based in Dagenham, Essex. On-site role. Contract duration: 8 weeks.
Client Overview
Our client is a renowned construction and engineering organisation delivering high-profile data centre projects. They prioritise quality, safety, and technical excellence across every stage of delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and co-ordinate the electrical commissioning process in line with the project programme
- Develop and maintain the Commissioning Execution Plan, testing strategy and resourced programme
- Chair commissioning meetings and co-ordinate all relevant stakeholders
- Verify and report on factory acceptance tests, site inspections and witnessing protocols
- Manage integrated system testing, ensuring statutory compliance and client demonstrations
- Oversee completion and handover documentation, training plans, and final reporting
- Ensure adherence to all codes of practice, including IET, BSRIA, and CIBSE standards
Must-have Requirements
- Extensive experience in commissioning management for data centres or similar projects
- Knowledge of Cx Alloy commissioning platform and Cx tagging processes
- Proven experience with electrical systems commissioning including IET 17th edition testing standards
- Strong communication, leadership skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Experience with health and safety management in a construction environment
- Valid CSCS or ECS site card
Nice-to-have Skills
- Familiarity with producing Commissioning Job Books and compliance reporting (BSRIA, CIBSE)
- Experience working on large-scale projects with budgets between Β£0.5m - Β£5m
