On behalf of our client, NRL Recruitment is currently looking for a Senior Civils Technician for a hybrid role, based in Warrington.
Perm Role – Full Time
Hybrid: 3 days in the office at Birchwood Park, Warrington WA3 6WU
Requirements:
- Competent in the use of Civils3D / AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Must have been in the UK for the last 5 years to be eligible for SC clearance
The role
As a Civil, Structural, and Architectural Technician, you will join our client\’s design team to work on Civil, Structural, or Architectural projects, developing innovative solutions for diverse design challenges. You will deliver nuclear design work, inspections, and construction site support for public and private sector projects in the UK and overseas.
- Prepare designs for facilities, structures, and infrastructure using Civils3D throughout various design stages.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver design solutions and promote effective cooperation across teams.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and deliver design presentations.
- Assist and mentor CS&A Apprentices and Technicians to promote their development.
Essential experience
- Experience across the full lifecycle of design activities.
- Knowledge of CAD tools and BIM processes.
- Knowledge of general engineering and architectural drawing practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with other disciplines.
Qualifications
- HNC minimum in a relevant discipline or equivalent academic qualification.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance. Eligibility may be affected by nationality, place of birth, or residency. Further details are available at UK Government Security Vetting.
