Based in Renfrew, this role suits an experienced Facilities or Building Services Engineer looking to contribute their expertise to the safe, efficient and compliant operation of mechanical and electrical systems. **Location and Working Pattern** Renfrew – site‐based role with occasional out‐of‐hours work as required **Client Overview** Our client is a respected organisation with complex building services infrastructure. They are seeking a skilled Facilities M&E Engineer to support ongoing maintenance, compliance and asset performance across critical systems. **Responsibilities** * Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and coordinate reactive maintenance activities* Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, fire detection, water services, BMS, generators, UPS and access control* Monitor asset performance, identify faults, and implement effective corrective actions* Manage specialist contractors, ensuring permits to work and service standards are upheld* Ensure compliance with statutory inspections, certifications and record‐keeping* Support refurbishment, upgrade and minor works projects including commissioning and handover* Maintain CMMS data integrity, asset registers and documentation* Promote health, safety, sustainability and continuous improvement across site activities**Must‐have Requirements** * Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering* Experience in facilities management, maintenance or building services* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, statutory compliance, and CMMS use* Proven contractor management and technical fault‐finding capability**Nice‐to‐have Skills** * Professional engineering membership (e.g. IMechE, IET)* IOSH or NEBOSH qualification* Experience supporting refurbishment or project works**Apply Now** If you’re a technically minded M&E Engineer who enjoys working hands‐on with building services, apply today to learn more about this long‐term opportunity in Renfrew. #J-18808-Ljbffr
