On behlaf of our client we are seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector to support welding inspection activities on a high-profile project in Barrow-in-Furness . The successful candidate will ensure quality compliance, conduct inspections, and uphold industry standards while working as part of a multi-discipline team.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, consistent, and competent welding inspections before, during, and after welding operations
Ensure safe execution of work scope, preventing impact on personnel, fabric, or the environment
Interpret and implement project policies, standards, and procedures , guaranteeing adherence to quality and safety requirements
Conduct inspections according to work packs, job cards, procedures, and technical drawings
Provide inspection support to construction activities , ensuring compliance with all regulations
Compile accurate and complete quality documentation as per company and contractual requirements
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of fabrication and NDT techniques , including VT, PT & MT
Perform QC inspections and Dimensional Inspections with precision and professionalism
Essential Qualifications & Certifications:
CSWIP Welding Inspector or CSWIP Senior Welding Inspector
CSWIP/PCN Level II – Penetrant Testing
Desired Qualifications:
PCN Level II – Magnetic Particle Inspection
PCN Level II – Radiographic Interpretation
BGAS-CSWIP / ICorr / NACE Coatings Inspector
DV/SC Clearance (preferred but not essential)
