Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the Manchester office, ensuring it remains safe, professional and well maintained.
- Act as the main point of contact for facilities, buildings and office-related matters, working with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Oversee repairs, maintenance and contractor activity, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Manage office supplies, equipment and consumables to maintain working order and stock levels.
- Support budgeting, expenditure monitoring and invoice processing for office-related costs.
- Maintain health, safety and environmental compliance, including relevant checks and documentation.
- Oversee office security and access systems and ensure consistent application of safety procedures.
- Deliver local onboarding, ensuring a welcoming induction for new starters.
Must‑have Requirements
- Proven experience in office management, facilities management or a similar role.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, supplier management and basic financial processes.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle competing priorities with professionalism.
- Strong communication abilities when liaising with staff, suppliers and visitors.
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Confident, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Nice‑to‑have Skills
- Familiarity with compliance, purchasing or HR administration.
- Experience managing health and safety processes or audits.
12-month contract position in Manchester.
