We’re seeking an experienced MEP Lead to take responsibility for the delivery of mechanical and electrical works on a major construction development. This is a senior leadership role, ideal for a highly organised professional with strong technical knowledge and proven experience in managing the full MEP scope across complex projects. Client Overview

Our client is a well-established construction organisation with a strong track record of delivering technically challenging, large-scale projects to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full mechanical and electrical scope across the project lifecycle
  • Lead all MEP activities to meet programme, quality, safety, and commercial targets
  • Monitor compliance with design specifications, technical standards, and regulations
  • Work closely with design teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery
  • Drive performance and continuous improvement across all MEP operations
  • Conduct regular site reviews and progress reporting to maintain alignment with objectives

Must-have Requirements

  • Relevant third-level degree in Electrical Engineering or an Electrical Trade Qualification
  • Minimum 10 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Proven track record managing large-scale projects as Senior Project Manager or similar
  • Preferably experience gained with a main building contractor
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
