Responsibilities
- Lead all commercial management for steel and structural packages
- Prepare, negotiate, and manage subcontract agreements and procurement processes
- Monitor and report on project costs, cash flow, and financial performance
- Identify commercial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives
- Manage valuations, variations, and final account settlements in line with contract obligations
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, contract conditions and best practices
Must-have Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity/Contract Surveyor in steel or structural works
- Strong working knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
- Excellent negotiation, analytical and reporting skills
- Ability to manage complex packages within agreed budgets and timescales
- Proficiency in cost management software and standard MS applications
