We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Project/Package Manager to take ownership of the mechanical services workstream on a major construction development. This position requires strong technical expertise and proven capability in managing mechanical systems from design through to commissioning. Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of the mechanical services delivery cycle, from planning and procurement to installation and commissioning
- Coordinate with design teams to ensure accurate technical information is received on time for site activities
- Monitor progress against programme milestones and maintain detailed reporting
- Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Oversee inspections, testing, and commissioning processes to guarantee system integrity
- Liaise with subcontractors and other project stakeholders to maintain smooth workflow and resolve technical queries promptly
- Ensure mechanical deliverables are fully aligned with project requirements and client expectations
Must-have Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent trade background
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or Package Manager within construction or building services
- Proven ability to deliver complex mechanical works on large-scale residential or commercial projects
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with industry-standard project coordination tools and IT systems
