Site Quality Engineer (Piping)

Responsibilities
- Communicate and manage all Witness and Hold Points as per Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Review and approve quality documents, including ITPs, welding procedures and material certificates.
- Witness inspections and testing activities on piping systems to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with external inspectors and regulatory authorities for inspections and approvals.
- Identify and report deviations, initiate corrective actions and confirm resolution effectiveness.
- Maintain documentation and traceability for piping components and welds.
- Ensure timely submission of records and quality documentation.
- Participate in audits and support quality improvement initiatives.
Must‑have Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years’ experience in quality engineering for piping systems in large-scale industrial or nuclear projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical erection processes and quality standards.
- Familiarity with nuclear safety regulations (PESR-PED).
- Valid certification in non‑destructive testing (NDT).
- Skilled in interpreting drawings, working with inspection practices and using quality management systems.

- Proficiency in digital inspection tools and systems.
- Experience working with contractors and regulatory bodies.
