We're looking for an organised and detail-focused Document Controller to support the efficient management and control of documentation for a large-scale construction project in the North West. This role would suit someone experienced in project support or document control within engineering, construction, or energy sectors, who takes pride in maintaining accuracy and compliance. You'll play a vital part in ensuring smooth project delivery and effective information management.
Salary Dependent on experience, plus company benefits.
Location and Working Pattern Based full-time on site in Ellesmere Port.
Fixed-term contract until October 2028.

Responsibilities
- Manage the registration, distribution, storage, retrieval, and archiving of all project documents.
- Maintain accurate document control systems and ensure effective revision tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, formatting, and compliance with quality standards.
- Coordinate document flow between project teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to meet project milestones.
- Administer electronic document management systems and produce regular document status reports.
- Support the continuous improvement of document control processes and systems.
Must-have Requirements
- Proven experience in document control within engineering, construction, infrastructure, or energy environments.
- Strong understanding of document control principles, quality management systems, and ISO standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage high volumes of documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience using electronic document management systems; PIRS familiarity is an advantage.
- Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and time-management abilities.
Nice-to-have Skills
- Background in renewable energy or Energy-from-Waste projects.
- Experience supporting large EPC or infrastructure programmes.
