Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join their team, delivering complex civil engineering projects across highways, urban realm, and infrastructure schemes. This is a hands-on role, offering variety, responsibility, and exposure to multi-million-pound projects.
What you’ll do:
- Lead setting out and day-to-day site engineering operations.
- Deliver key civil works: roads, drainage, kerbs, paving, surfacing.
- Operate Leica TS16 Total Station and GPS surveying equipment for precise layouts.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe, high-quality delivery.
- Manage tasks from site setup to final handover, maintaining standards and deadlines.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, method statements, and risk assessments on site.

- Newcastle public realm & shopfront schemes – £10M
- Manchester airport frameworks and car parks – £10M
- Leicester A511 highways scheme, junctions & large structures – £50M over 2.5 years
- Doncaster urban realm schemes
What you will bring to the table:
- Degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- CSCS card and valid UK driving licence.
- Experience on civil engineering/highways projects.
- Hands-on experience with external works and site coordination.
- Proficient with surveying equipment (Leica TS16, GPS), AutoCAD, and site documentation.
- Strong understanding of health & safety, quality, and construction processes.
