Job Role:
Carry out installation, maintenance, and commissioning works on a variety of Highways Roadside Technology Equipment, working with the Ringway team and specialist subcontractors. Ensure all safety, environmental, and quality obligations are met, while fulfilling the needs of clients and stakeholders.
Duties:
- Work safely and promote a safe environment for all operations and personnel.
- Carry out installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities on all equipment.
- Undertake software, hardware, and systems testing.
- Adhere to Health and Safety procedures and produce required documentation.
- Support the Assistant Project Manager with planning and delivery of projects/tasks.
- Oversee operational teams and subcontractors on site to meet productivity and quality targets.
Person Specification:
- Travel required across NH East contract sites.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Background in installation or maintenance of electrical/electronic equipment.
- ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electronic/Electrical Engineering.
- Previous registration/knowledge of HERS.
- Willingness to work roadside and at heights.
- Ability to undertake night work.
- Able to pass basic DBS checks.
