You will lead the operational delivery of a borough-wide street cleansing and maintenance contract, managing a large frontline workforce, fleet, and assets. The role is hybrid (2 days from home) and you should be located within an hour's drive of the office in Hounslow. The role carries full accountability for health & safety, environmental compliance, service performance and customer outcomes. You will operate in a public-facing, politically sensitive environment with direct responsibility for operational standards and results.
What you will need
- Proven experience managing street cleansing, waste, environmental or public-realm operations
- Demonstrable leadership of a large operational workforce (circa 50+ operatives)
- Strong working knowledge of H&S, RAMS, COSHH, CDM and environmental compliance
- Experience managing fleet, depots, plant and operational assets
- Track record of delivering contractual KPIs, budgets and service performance in a regulated environment
