Responsibilities
- Oversee all surveying-related activities for the project, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications
- Manage survey teams to deliver setting out and dimensional control across all civil works
- Coordinate with engineering and delivery teams to resolve technical queries
- Ensure quality assurance, project tolerances, and reporting standards are consistently met
- Maintain clear and accurate records of survey data, including as-built drawings and progress updates
- Advise on temporary works and provide specialist input where required
- Monitor and manage survey-related risks and resources to maintain efficiency
Must-have Requirements
- Extensive surveying experience within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of modern survey equipment, GPS systems, and CAD software
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team of surveyors in a site-based environment
- Familiarity with quality management systems and health & safety standards
- Strong organisational and communication skills to support effective project delivery
