Responsibilities

  • Oversee all surveying-related activities for the project, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications
  • Manage survey teams to deliver setting out and dimensional control across all civil works
  • Coordinate with engineering and delivery teams to resolve technical queries
  • Ensure quality assurance, project tolerances, and reporting standards are consistently met
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of survey data, including as-built drawings and progress updates
  • Advise on temporary works and provide specialist input where required
  • Monitor and manage survey-related risks and resources to maintain efficiency

Must-have Requirements

  • Extensive surveying experience within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of modern survey equipment, GPS systems, and CAD software
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team of surveyors in a site-based environment
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and health & safety standards
  • Strong organisational and communication skills to support effective project delivery
