Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all construction activities across civil works packages
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to maintain project performance
- Maintain accurate programme tracking and proactively resolve any delays or issues
- Drive full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all works
- Ensure quality assurance procedures and specifications are adhered to throughout delivery
- Oversee site resources, logistics, and planning to maintain operational efficiency
- Provide progress reports, risk assessments, and leadership input to the wider project team
Must-have Requirements
- Substantial experience as a Construction Manager or senior site lead within civil engineering
- In-depth knowledge of groundworks, structures, and associated site operations
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation and site compliance requirements
- Effective communication and organisational skills for managing stakeholders and reporting
