The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

NRL have work coming up for EC&I Designers, Engineers, Senior Engineers and Principal Engineers with a few of our nuclear clients in the North West. The work will be predominantly be based out of Warrington, Chester and Anglesey but candidates working remotely with some travel may also be considered. These roles will be on a PAYE / Umbrella / Inside IR35 or permanent basis only.

The Roles:

Working on long term decommissioning work with a major engineering company, we are looking for:

  • Engineers
  • Senior Engineers
  • Principal Engineers
  • Discipline Lead / Responsible Engineers

Duties:

Depending on the role, duties could include:

  • Checking design drawings and documentation at all applicable stages
  • Leading design delivery with small internal teams and managing the same with respect to external contracts.
  • Performing plant configuration walkdowns to confirm and accurately record the plant baseline, in support of onward design and assurance.
  • Determining Engineering Requirements and provide underpinning for the Validation and Verification.
  • Professionally representing the project team within the supply chain, including attendance at factory or customer acceptance tests, as delegated by the Responsible Engineer.

You will need:

  • Previous Sellafield / Nuclear experience is preferred but by no means essential (highly regulated industry experience is a must though)
  • Experience working with various design software (Aveva Tools for Digital Engineering roles) is desirable
  • Ability to present in the office on a hybrid basis (usually 2-3 days per week)

Excellent communication and written skills, an inquisitive and questioning attitude and a self-motivated drive to deliver the best possible solution is more important than experience or knowledge in the technical areas. As such, these roles are open to all experience levels with HNC/D minimum qualification in an EC&I related subject, as individuals may be trained within the role, under close supervision.
