NRL are looking to speak with candidates for a Buyer role, experience not essential.

Procurement:

  • Source, negotiate and open new supplier accounts in line with the preferred supplier’s list policy.
  • Work with Contracts managers and site Teams to collate and procure call off orders on a sale or return basis.
  • Procure the day-to-day site materials requirements and the best possible terms ensuring all deliveries are as requested and within any site delivery stipulations.
  • Assist contract managers in collating and sending out subcontract and bulk material packages enquiries.
  • Collate received quotations, review and summarise where requested.

Plant Hire & Plant Procurement:

  • Source and procure at the best terms plant and equipment needed by the company and ensure the items are engraved and added to the Plant register.
  • Source and hire any plant/equipment for company use at the best possible terms and add to the plant hire register.
  • Send out plant hire reports every Wednesday to the Ops directors, Contracts Managers, and site teams to request the off hire of any unused hire plant.
  • Explore new supplier opportunities and set up trading accounts.

PPE & Safety equipment:

  • Explore and procure the PPE and safety equipment and ensure the company is compliant with the requirements set out by the health and safety officer.
