We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients for an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Bristol on a permanent basis. This role offers hybrid working, with 2-3 days per week in the office.
About the Role: The successful candidate will bring their Electrical/Instrumentation expertise to support projects in Nuclear and other highly regulated industries. You will be responsible for technical supervision, stakeholder management, and ensuring compliance with key electrical design codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply electrical engineering expertise in nuclear projects and highly regulated environments.
- Work within RCC-E design codes and other relevant industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with NFC15-100, NF C 13-200, BS7671, and IEC 60909.
- Provide technical supervision, including document approvals, mentoring junior engineers, and resolving technical queries.
- Engage with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to deliver solutions in nuclear and safety-critical sectors.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (other engineering backgrounds considered with relevant electrical experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Experience on a nuclear project or within a highly regulated industry (e.g., oil & gas, transport infrastructure).
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including project leadership or client interactions.
