NRL is looking for Valve technicians for an Offshore trip, full JD can be sent on application Candidates MUST have good proven previous experience working as a Valve Technician

Inspection, Diagnostics and Fault-Finding Inspect hydraulic systems and components for wear, damage, leakage and performance issues.
Diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment.
Verify pilot pressures, solenoid operation, coil resistance and electrical signals.
Interpret hydraulic schematics, engineering drawings and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to identify faults and determine repair requirements.
Maintenance and Repair Strip, inspect, clean and rebuild hydraulic pilot valves, solenoid valves, actuators and associated components.
Replace seals, O-rings, springs and worn internal parts in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Carry out preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on hydraulic equipment.
Ensure repaired equipment is assembled to the required quality standards.
Calibration and Testing Calibrate hydraulic valves and associated equipment using approved test equipment.
Perform pressure, flow and functional testing using hydraulic test benches, pressure gauges and diagnostic instruments.
Adjust valve settings, including cracking pressures, stroke rates and operating parameters, where required.
Verify equipment performance before release and ensure equipment meets operational specifications.
