NRL are recruiting for a leading provider of infrastructure services.
Role details: You will be responsible for the Sub Arc Welding of a large scale mock-up for one of our nuclear projects and as such must have a proven track record in Sub Arc Welding. Additionally, you will also be responsible for operating a novel automated welding solution that we are currently developing and therefore experience in automated welding techniques is also desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide support in the field of Welding Operations in support of Asset Management contractual activities.
- To be responsible for equipment and facilities as specified by the Operations Leader ensuring that these are always properly maintained, calibrated and fit-for-purpose.
- To assist senior staff as a member of project team(s) in meeting time, cost and timescale targets on all projects thus fully satisfying the client’s valid requirements.
- To adhere to company procedures and systems (including quality, safety, environment, administration, security) and to contribute to the improvement of such procedures where they can enhance performance.
- To ensure that equipment, workspace and machinery is maintained to a high standard and fit for purpose or third-party inspection.
- To stop any work being carried out within bay/lab environments which is deemed not in-line with the standards expected.
