We are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager for a current site that requires a partial rebuild to achieve a compliant operational site. The duration for the project is expected to be approximately 8 to 9 months. Normal hours are Monday to Friday with occasional weekend working.
The site is a High-Pressure (HP) natural gas AGI located to the north-east of Burnley. The new work involves the following:
- Disinvestment / Removal of Existing Equipment
- New Filter Skids
- New Heat Exchanger Skids
- New Boiler System and Flow and Return Pipework
- New High Pressure (HP) – Medium Pressure (MP) PRU Streams
- New MP-LP Fuel Gas PRU Skid with Kiosk
- New Ultra-Sonic Clamp on Meter
- Buried and Above Ground Inter-Connecting Pipework
- Filter Skid Concrete Base and Upstands
- Heat Exchanger Skid Concrete Base and Upstands
- Fuel Gas Skid and Kiosk Foundations
- Above Ground Pipe Supports and Foundations
- Below Ground Pipe Supports and Foundations
- Temporary G19 Pipe Supports
- Concrete Bases for Lighting and Instruments
- New Concrete Bollards
- New GRP Handrails
- New single door to regulator building
- New Footpaths
- New Buried Ducting and Draw Pits
- Concrete Core Holes in Existing Regulator Building
- Thermowell and Valve Pits
- New Sand Boxes

There is no outage window for Barrowford AGI, therefore, the new AGI shall be constructed and commissioned alongside the existing AGI. Candidates MUST have good previous experience on AGIs. Local candidates to site preferred, MUST be UK resident and have the right to work in the UK.
