NRL are currently recruiting Plumbers to support temporary works on a construction site in Fort William. The role involves the installation and flushing of waste pipes and drainage systems to support site welfare and mobilisation infrastructure.
Start: 24th November 2025
Duration: Until the end of 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and connect temporary waste pipes and drainage systems for site welfare units.
- Conduct flushing and testing of drainage systems to ensure functionality and compliance.
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure plumbing works align with mobilisation schedules.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety and adhere to site protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues during mobilisation phase.
- Ensure all works comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Must be able to install Trace heating and be able to lag the pipe work.
Requirements:
- Valid JIB Plumber Card – essential.
- Proven experience in site-based plumbing, particularly in temporary works or construction mobilisation.
- Knowledge of waste and drainage systems, including flushing procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong awareness of site safety procedures.
Additional Information:
- Mon-Fri 10hrs a day available, 11 day fortnight this may change due to subject site agreement.
- Free parking available on site.
- Welfare facilities on site.
- All work is outside and exposed to elements.
Pay:
- PAYE Rates: Mon- Fri 1st 37.5 hours £18.34 Working Rate + £2.21 Holiday Pay = £20.55 Total Payable
- Midweek OT, Sat & Sun - £24.39 + £2.94 Holiday Pay = £27.34 Total Payable
- Umbrella Rates: Mon- Fri 1st 37.5 hours £23.93
- Midweek OT, Sat & Sun - £31.82
