NRL are working with a well established business based in Redcar who require a Bookkeeper to join their team, this will be a permanent position. You will be responsible for bookkeeping day to day tasks.
What you’ll do:
- Keep our day-to-day accounts up-to-date – sales, purchases, expenses, and payments
- Raise invoices, process supplier bills, and chase unpaid invoices
- Reconcile the bank and keep cash flow under control
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with payroll using Xero software
- Produce simple reports so the team knows exactly where the business stands
- Work with our accountant for year‑end accounts
What we’re looking for:
- Bookkeeping experience, ideally in a small business
- Comfortable with accounting software Xero
- Knows the basics of UK VAT
- Accurate, organised, and proactive
- Can work independently and take ownership
