Overview
Lead Service Now design activity for complex, user-centred digital services, ensuring that services meet user needs, business objectives and government service standards. The role will drive end-to-end design across multidisciplinary teams, helping to identify opportunities for service improvement, reduce complexity and deliver measurable outcomes for citizens and colleagues.
The post holder will provide Service Now design expertise, facilitate collaborative design activities and support strategic decision-making through evidence-based design approaches.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting increasing Portfolio Place development demand within the Departmental Portfolio Office
- Configuring ServiceNow
- Following platform standards
- Supporting testing and releases
- Documenting changes
- Raising technical debt or risks
Skills & Experience Required:
ServiceNow development, Agile delivery, integrations/data structures, governed release processes, accessibility and secure-by-design practices
SPM / PPM
Experience working within UK Government, public sector or highly regulated
Existing Security Clearance (only BPSS is required for this role and can be undertaken before start).
