The Company
Our client is a leading name in several fields of manufacturing, with a major European and UK presence spanning numerous operational plants. As part of the continued growth of the business they are presently seeking a Production Team Leader to provide hands-on leadership skills for their manufacturing operations at their Manchester site.
The Role
- To be a second line of leadership and management, reporting into and supporting the Production Manager.
- Taking responsibility / ownership of delivering daily performance targets.
- Improve the understanding and urgency of team members to develop own skill levels, become proactive and motivated to deliver expected individual performance targets.
- Monitor and drive line performance by motivating operators and focusing Engineers on restrictions and problems which can prevent the achievement of production targets.
- Challenge and improve standard operating procedures, once improved ensure adherence and communication.
- To be part of a professional, empowered team committed to providing the customer with the highest quality product in the most cost-effective manner.
