A major European company is seeking Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers for a contract position. This is a great place to work, with a friendly site and an exciting new phase of development ahead. Initially, the contract is for 3 months, with the potential for a longer term.
The Company:
Our client is a leading name in several fields of manufacturing, with a significant presence in Europe and the UK, spanning numerous operational plants. They are currently looking for 3 contract Maintenance Technicians to provide engineering support for their operation in Corby.
Job Purpose:
Provide the on-site engineering maintenance cover required to meet the needs of an expanding business. A time-served engineer with either electrical or mechanical bias is needed, capable of carrying out fault finding and repairs to a range of manufacturing equipment. Strong oral and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as a broad knowledge of all aspects of engineering and site facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on all production equipment (PPM).
- Diagnose and rectify issues promptly to minimise downtime and enhance productivity.
- Uphold compliance with safety regulations and champion a culture of safety on site.
- Help plan maintenance schedules and update the CMMS system accurately, including CI activities, repairs, upgrades, and modifications.
