Job Purpose
To support the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and HVAC systems while gaining hands-on experience and industry knowledge under supervision. This role is designed to develop the skills required to become a fully qualified Air Conditioning Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers with servicing and maintenance of air conditioning systems
- Support installation of split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF systems
- Carry out basic fault finding and diagnostics under supervision
- Clean and replace filters, coils, and components
- Handle tools, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate job records and service reports
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
- Travel to client sites as required
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
- Strong interest in HVAC / mechanical engineering
- Good practical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and take instruction
- Basic understanding of tools and mechanical systems
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Full UK driving licence (Clean)
Desirable:
- Relevant qualification
- CSCS card (or willingness to obtain)
- F-Gas awareness (not essential)
